Bobby Shmurda is showing support for Diddy while seemingly blaming some of the women who have made allegations against him.
The 31-year-old rapper made the comments about the Bad Boy Entertainment founder during a recent interview on The Real Report with Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda.
"Free my n***a Diddy, man," Shmurda said near the 38-minute mark in the video linked above. “I know n****s ain’t fucking with Diddy, but free Diddy, man.”
The comments caused a bit of a commotion in the studio before the “Hot N***a” rapper could weigh in with more comments.
“I’m gonna talk my peace, you heard? ‘Cuz we be fucking bitches in the hood. N****s be fucking running the trains on the bitches in the hood, but I don’t know about the watching the n***a while you doing the other shit,” he continued, referring to an allegation that the disgraced mogul watched then-girlfriend Cassie have sex with an escort.
He continued, “The freak-off parties, I get that. ‘Cuz y’all bitches on the ‘gram, y'all know y'all was doing that in the hood, too, to trap n****s. Don’t be acting like we had y’all on the spot. It’s like 10 bitches, it’s like four n****s wildin’.”
Shmurda continued to defend Diddy by questioning the validity of the numerous claims made against him. He also said he didn’t watch the Netflix “Diddy doc” which was executive produced by 50 Cent.
“I know people be lying and I know how far lies be going,” he said, before later adding that he’s “not cool” with Diddy, nor does he have a personal relationship with him.
“I'm a gangsta, bro. Listen, I don't believe allegations … Now the reason I don’t believe that shit—when you a n***a that fuck wild bitches, people try you, you know what I’m saying?” he said elsewhere in the episode.
Although a jury in July 2025 cleared him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, Diddy was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, resulting in a 50-month prison sentence and a $500,000 fine. He is currently incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey and is now expected to be released on April 15, 2028.
