BIGBANG have officially unveiled the dates and cities for their highly-anticipated 20th anniversary world tour.
After first announcing plans for a global trek during their Coachella performance in April, the K-pop legends have now revealed the full itinerary for their stadium run, which will see G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG perform 31 shows across Asia, North America, Europe, and Australia.
The tour, marking BIGBANG’s first since 2017, will kick off on August 21 at South Korea’s Goyang Stadium.
In a statement shared with Rolling Stone, YG Entertainment said the group is preparing shows on an unprecedented scale, saying, “As BIGBANG is one of the leading artists who broadened the reach of K-Pop on a global scale by setting new milestones in the popular music industry, BIGBANG is channeling every effort to deliver the best-ever scale and level of perfection for the upcoming shows. The stages are set to be monumental, spanning the past, present, and future of K-Pop.”
Widely regarded as one of the most influential acts in K-pop history, BIGBANG became global sensations with releases like “Haru Haru,” “Fantastic Baby,” “Bang Bang Bang,” and more.
