Rappers frequently go on social media to flaunt their big purchases, especially around the holidays, but T-Pain went on Instagram Thursday to share a different kind of investment.

The rapper revealed his brother spent the past month in two separate hospitals, and he's now footing the $1,402,977 total for the medical treatment. One of the bills is a shocking $1.13 million, with another costing $270,231 for a jaw-dropping total.

“I first wanna say thank you to all the ppl that were involved in keeping my brother alive,” T-Pain wrote in the caption. “I can’t express enough gratitude to the medical staff that kept my family whole.”

He didn’t share why his brother was in the hospital or what condition he’s in, but hopefully the treatment was successful. “My brother was in two hospitals for a total of a month and some change,” the auto-tune savant continued. “Just got the bills.”

Fortunately, T-Pain’s got a big heart and plenty of money in the bank.

Earlier this month T-Pain also made headlines related to his finances after suing his former management company for $1 million in damages.
