It's been a week since Georgia crooner Jacquees launched Twitter into a debate over the reigning "King of R&B." But even after being shut down by R&B legends of the past and present, Diddy, and the rest of the internet, the singer is standing his ground.

On Sunday, Tank mockingly posted of photo of himself, Trey Songz, and Keith Sweat laughing with the caption, "He said what?"

Jacquees puffed up his chest and replied, "U know what I said."

The comments are likely lighthearted. Jacquees posted his own photo with Sweat on Sunday.

Following the backlash, Birdman came to his signee's defense. According to TMZ, "the Cash Money honcho loves the fact Jacquees made such a bold statement and feels it's about time his artist told the world what's really good."

But there are still many who disagree, including Diddy, who argued there is no "King of R&B," because R&B music isn't being made right now.
