Jacquees kicked a hornet's nest when he proclaimed that he was the "king of R&B," prompting reactions from the likes of Trey Songz, Ty Dolla Sign, and J. Holiday. Toronto rapper and singer Tory Lanez is joining the conversation, too, telling Jacquees to hit him up directly.
Starting with a perhaps inadvisable rendition of R. Kelly's "Bump n' Grind" before challenging Jacquees directly, Tory Lanez tells his audience, "Man tell that n***a Jacquees to holla at me one time. Tell that n***a holla at me no autotune." Jacquees has worked with Lanez in the past, so it's friendly invitation for some competition.

The rapper previously defended Jacquees on an Instagram live session, stating that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. He then proceeded to take shots at the likes of Tyrese and J. Holiday, saying that he isn't a fan of when older musicians use their status to unfairly critique newer artists in a generation removed from their own.
