It’s been a terrible few months for Ariana Grande. Between her recent split with Pete Davidson and grieving her ex Mac Miller, the singer has taken refuge in the studio. While turning to music during this painful time, Grande apparently already recorded enough songs to become a whole new project.

Grande confirmed to fans that she indeed made her fifth album in the past few months. “How u think i survived these 2/3 months ksjsksjs,” she tweeted.

So far Grande has given us a preview of one of her songs, which seems to have the working title “needy.”

But Sweetener era is not over yet. The singer is still planning to tour her new album, and has a few visuals on the way, including an official music video for “Breathin” that doesn’t feature her pet Piggy Smallz.

It's unclear when this new project is coming, but Grande teased that it could be before the end of 2018.

Ari recently told us to expect anything as far as when and how her music may drop, saying, "i don’t want to conform to the like ... ‘routine’ or like ‘formula’ anymore. i love music i ain’t waiting another 2 years to drop it."
