PinkPantheress has had the viral charts on lock this summer — so much so, that it feels illegal. And now, her latest mixtape Fancy That is getting a special update.

On Monday, October 6, PinkPantheress — whose real name is Victoria Walker — announced a remix companion project for Fancy That. In a video shared to social media, Walker meets up with an animated version of herself shaking hands — just like in the viral “Illegal” challenge. The animated Walker then writes the names of several artists on the board, including Brazilian superstar Anitta, Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson, K-pop group Seventeen, Australian music legend Kylie Minogue, and DJ Kaytranada.

Also on the album are Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix — who performs mononymously under the name Jade — Ravyn Lenae — who’s had major chart success with her hit single “Love Me Not” — rapper JT of City Girls, indie R&B singer Nia Archives, and more.

Upon seeing this star-studded list, Walker said, “I think I do fancy some more.”

The video ended without offering a release date or even a title for the remix project. However, an Instagram page called I Rip The Slip shared Walker’s video to its Story, and noted that the project is set to arrive Friday, October 10. Walker reshared it to her own Story, seemingly confirming that the project will arrive on Friday.

Walker has been putting out music since 2021. She has been known for her British hyperpop sounds, and her short, catchy tracks — most of which she self-produces using GarageBand. She broke through in early 2023, when her Ice Spice collaboration “Boy’s a Liar, Pt. 2” went viral on TikTok. She released her debut album Heaven Knows that same year.

Perhaps an even bigger hit, “Illegal” has maintained an omnipresence on the video sharing app since this past July.
