As 2025 comes to an end, music lovers are already anticipating big releases for next year. One of the most hotly awaited albums of 2026 is that of K-Pop superstars BTS, who have been on hiatus since 2022. But now, BTS’ dedicated fanbase — known as the Army — has an idea of when they can expect the boys’ big comeback.

In a social media livestream following a show on Saturday, Nov. 1, BTS member Jimin revealed that BTS’ next album is complete.

“Guys, we just finished recording,” said Jimin. “It can come out next spring. Seeing you today, I really feel like promoting our music.”

Back in 2022, the group announced their hiatus, as each of the members went off to serve a mandatory period in the Korean military. In the interim, each of them has released solo albums. Since this past June, all of the members had been discharged.

Last month, BTS member RM shared that the album was in its final days of production, but they have already begun working on the album’s visuals and aesthetics.

“We're still preparing the album, filming the jacket, and filming the music video,” RM told W Korea at the time.

According to a report from Bloomberg published on Saturday, Oct. 25, the album is set to drop in March 2026. The album will reportedly be accompanied by a 65-date international tour, which will mark the group’s first tour since 2019. The report also notes that more than 30 of those dates will take place in North America. The exact dates, however, remain unconfirmed.

BTS is often credited for the rise in K-Pop’s popularity in the US beginning in the late 2010s. Back in 2020, the group had a breakthrough hit with “Dynamite,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The following year, they dropped “Butter” and “Permission to Dance,” both of which also topped the Hot 100.
