King Harris, while rocking a Pikachu onesie, was arrested after being stopped by cops in in Gwinnett County, Georgia on Sunday night, according to TMZ.
According to jail records obtained by Complex, he was eventually booked on a felony charge by Gwinnett County Police for possession of a controlled substance, two traffic citations for a seatbelt violation and speeding, and a misdemeanor charge of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
A rep for Gwinnett County Police told TMZ that King Harris was driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone around 1 a.m. Officers reported seeing a firearm in the vehicle, and he allegedly refused to exit, which led to his arrest. Police say a vape pen containing 10 milligrams of THC was also recovered, resulting in a felony possession charge and a misdemeanor count of willful obstruction of law enforcement.
“Mannn Pikachu is free 🤣‼️ F**K TEAM ROCKET,” Harris later wrote on IG after news of his arrest broke.
King was previously arrested in 2024 after a traffic stop led to the discovery that he had a warrant.
Earlier this month, King Harris addressed his viral Waffle House incident, saying the dispute started after his order included pickles he didn’t want. He claimed he asked for a remake but received attitude from staff. “It wasn’t even over the pickles because when I gave it to him, he had an attitude and threw it on the ground, like, ‘I ain’t making this shit!’” Harris said on The Morning Hustle.
