With his social activist roots and pro-marijuana stance, Bernie Sanders is really hip to America’s youth. They’re even campaigning on Tinder, which might be the reason a new study is claiming people aren’t really using the app for hookups anymore. But you know what would make the Vermont senator even cooler? A bird landing on his podium.

During a rally in Portland, the 74-year-old was delivering a passionate speech when a bird dropped in for a quick hello, UPROXXreports. Sanders, surprised by the unannounced guest, quickly used the situation to his advantage. "I think there may be some symbolism here," he said, much to the delight of his supporters. "I know it doesn't look like it, but that bird is really a dove asking us for world peace. No more wars."
