Newly released video footage may offer the clearest look yet at the final known movements of Camila Mendoza Olmos, the 19-year-old Texas college student who vanished early on Christmas Eve.

On Monday, December 29, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office shared footage they believe shows Camila walking alone along Wildhorse Parkway near her home in northwest Bexar County.

The video, which was captured by a motorist driving to work around 7 a.m. on December 24—shared with People—was taken minutes after Camila was last seen on surveillance footage outside her family’s residence.

In the clip, a woman believed to be Camila is seen walking northbound, wearing a dark hoodie and pants. Sheriff Javier Salazar said authorities are confident the footage shows the missing teen.

“We believe that it captured Camila, just walking… alone, at least at that point, a few minutes after the video that was captured in her driveway,” Salazar said.

The new video follows earlier footage that showed Camila in the driveway of her home in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring around 6:58 a.m. Investigators say she appeared to be searching through her vehicle before leaving on foot. Her car remained at the house, and authorities believe she left with only her keys and possibly her driver’s license.

Camila was last seen wearing a baby blue and black hoodie, baby blue pajama bottoms, and white shoes. Her phone was later found inside the home with no battery.

According to investigators, Camila’s mother, Rosario, had been sleeping in the same bed as her daughter when she felt Camila get up early that morning.

When Camila did not return from what her family believed might be a routine morning walk, concern quickly escalated.

Rosario contacted Camila’s boyfriend and father, both of whom said they had not seen her, before calling authorities.

As the search has intensified, officials have warned that there is enough information to believe Camila is in “imminent danger.”

Salazar has said investigators are examining a wide range of possibilities, including kidnapping, human trafficking, Camila leaving voluntarily, and concerns related to self-harm. “We’re looking at a whole spectrum of possibilities,” he said.
