Supermodel Chanel Iman and New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Davon Godchaux are giving fans a look inside the sprawling Texas ranch they’ve transformed into a family retreat, revealing how their “cowboy’s dream home” became the centerpiece of life for their blended family.

Featured by Architectural Digest, the couple opened the doors to their multi-acre property located about 90 minutes outside Dallas, where horses, cattle, and wide-open land have replaced city life. Godchaux recalled immediately knowing the house was special, even after arriving late at night. “We got there at about 10 o’clock and flicked on all the lights,” the Saints veteran said. “I called my wife and said, ‘This is it.’”

Iman initially resisted the idea of making an offer before seeing the property in daylight, but after flying out a few days later, she was equally convinced.

The move marked another chapter in a relationship that has moved quickly since the pair went public in 2022. Following an engagement during a trip to Capri, Italy, in 2023, the couple welcomed their daughter, Capri Summer, later that year and married in 2024 after a New York civil ceremony and a Caribbean yacht celebration.

Together, they are raising a blended family that includes Iman’s daughters, Cali and Cassie, and Godchaux’s son, Davon Godchaux II. Iman, who rose to prominence as a Victoria’s Secret model, has also launched her own home collection brand, Chasa.

Working alongside 2id Interiors, the couple designed a residence inspired by Western living but filled with personal touches. “Davon is really into decorating, and he loves art and fashion. It’s kind of our love language,” Iman explained. “We wanted this home to feel personal and collected rather than overly designed.”

The result, she said, is “everything we ever wanted in Texas. I would say it’s a cowboy’s dream home.”

Godchaux made sure the space reflected warmth instead of minimalism. “I’m not into a lot of big white walls—we wanted to see color in this house,” he said. Iman added, “We wanted it to feel welcoming and warm the moment you walk in.” Their breakfast area was built to accommodate the entire family, with the model saying, “Our goal was to create a place our children would always remember, and a home that evolves with our family.”

The couple even undertook a major construction project, building a four-horse barn adjacent to the house. The property sits near additional acreage that includes roughly 50 head of cattle, embracing the Southern lifestyle both have grown to love. “Being around horses is very therapeutic and peaceful,” Godchaux said. “It just helps you get your mind right.”

For Godchaux, a Louisiana native and former LSU standout who entered the NFL with the Miami Dolphins in 2017 before spending time with the New England Patriots and joining the Saints in 2025, the ranch represents more than luxury.

“Texas gave us the freedom to dream bigger. We love the land, the openness, being surrounded by nature. That’s really what brought us here, and it’s a dream come true,” Iman said.
