A Texas man was arrested after allegedly trespassing at Mar-a-Lago.

23-year-old Anthony Thomas Reyes was placed in handcuffs on Tuesday morning (June 3) and allegedly told law enforcement he entered the Palm Beach, Florida club to “spread the gospel” to President Donald Trump and to marry his granddaughter, Kai Madison Trump.

“Shortly after midnight, the individual scaled a perimeter fence and triggered alarms. U.S. Secret Service personnel detained him without incident at the scene. Palm Beach Police officers responded to the scene and took the individual into custody, charging him with occupied trespassing,” a Secret Service spokesperson told The Hill.

Authorities confirmed that no Secret Service protectees, including Trump, were present during the incident.

Court records reviewed by The Hill show he was booked at the Palm Beach County Jail, pleaded not guilty, and had bond set at $50,000. The judge ordered the man to avoid contact with the president or any of his family members.

Kai Trump currently attends the Benjamin School and has committed to play golf at the University of Miami.
