The Prince Estate is launching sales for a limited edition New Power Generation jersey paying tribute to the Purple One's iconic backing band.

The hockey-inspired jersey was rocked by Prince himself back in the Gold Experience and Emancipation era, including that purple and gold version he wore as a tip of the hat to the Minnesota Vikings in his recently re-released "Rock and Roll Is Alive! (And It Lives in Minneapolis)" music video. Previously available for a brief time in the late '90s on tour and online, the jersey can now be purchased via the official Prince site for $199.

As previously reported, the estate is currently prepping three Prince albums for their first vinyl drop. Musicology, 3121, and Planet Earth will be available on the format starting Feb. 8, 2019. Each will be available in a limited purple edition. Additionally, the trio of vinyl releases will be complemented by corresponding merch that will also be limited edition.

Last month, the estate kicked off a two-month rollout of re-releasing classic and rare Prince videos to YouTube. This month's scheduled drops include videos for "Chelsea Rogers," "Guitar," "The One U Wanna C," and more.
