West’s X, marking the director’s first film since 2016’s In a Valley of Violence, is in theaters this Friday following its recent global premiere at the SXSW festival Austin. The film—also written by West—is set in 1979 and counts Mia Goth, Jenna Ortega, Scott Mescudi, Martin Henderson, Brittany Snow, Owen Campbell, and Stephen Ure among its cast.
Cudi, who plays a character by the name of Jackson Hole in the film, stopped by Late Night this week to promote the film and wound up talking with host Seth Meyers about his daughter being introduced to the horror genre at large when she was eight years old.
