NIGO® to Release New Merch Celebrating 20 Years of Complex at ComplexCon

NIGO® is also serving as this year's headlining performer at ComplexCon in Long Beach, where he will be joined by Lil Uzi Vert and other special guests.

With ComplexCon now mere days away from the launch of its fittingly anticipated 2022 edition, we’re unveiling exclusive merch created by NIGO® that attendees will be able to cop.

The pieces include T-shirts, tumblrs, button-down jackets, shorts, and more. Featured throughout is a previously unveiled logo remixed by NIGO® to celebrate 20 years of Complex. The logo incorporates an exclusive Maneki-Neko graphic, complete with a Complex logo that takes inspiration from the traditional Edomoji lettering styles.

ComplexCon returns to Long Beach on Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20. Taking on the dual role of host and artistic director of this year’s festivities is Japanese graphic artist Verdy, a familiar (and prolific) name to those familiar with past editions of ComplexCon.

NIGO®, meanwhile, is this year’s headlining performer. On Sunday, the massively influential designer and artist will bring his I Know NIGO® album to the ComplexCon stage, where he’ll be joined by a range of featured guests including Lil Uzi Vert, Clipse, and Teriyaki Boyz.

Speaking with Karizza Sanchez for Complex in May, NIGO® reflected on his initial memory of Complex, as well as his 2019 cover story with Kid Cudi.

“20 years is a great achievement,” he said at the time. “They say that persistence pays off, it’s very impressive.”
