Kendrick Lamar and Willy Chavarria are strengthening their already proven collaborative relationship with a new collection in tandem with the GNX artist’s upcoming Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show performance in New Orleans.

As first reported by Vogue, the collection, featuring everything from t-shirts to satin starter jackets, is intended to serve as a celebration of both Kendrick’s artistry and the current 1990s influence seen across fashion at large. In a call with Laia Garcia-Furtado, Chavarria described the creative process behind the pieces as one that was “very collaborative from the fits to the fabric to the artwork.”

The collection, expectedly, is a limited one. The general public will be able to vie for their chance at owning a piece starting this Wednesday, Jan. 29.

Kendrick and Willy previously merged their artistic voices in the name of the former’s Big Steppers Tour in 2023, which saw the designer working with preeminent stylist to the stars, Taylor McNeill. More recently, a key WC piece was prominently featured in the Dave Free and Kendrick-directed video for “Not Like Us,” ranked as the No. 1 song of the year by Complex.

Speaking with Mike DeStefano for Complex about the “Not Like Us” inclusion back in July, Chavarria expressed admiration for Kendrick’s “talent and strong presence in our culture,” adding that the 2025 Grammy nominee “defines” the sound of the West Coast while also redefining its “cultural impact.”

Joining Kendrick for halftime festivities in New Orleans next month is SZA, who's also been tapped as his partner for the impending Grand National Tour. The 23-show North American run begins April 19 in Minneapolis and wraps June 18.
