Hanifa, the global luxury brand founded by Anifa Mvuemba, rolled out its Fall/Winter 2022 presentation on Monday.

As announced in the days leading up to the reveal, Monday’s presentation (available here) was followed by a live shopping session with Mvuemba, who was joined by @highlowluxxe.

Below, get a closer look at a selection of newly unveiled FW22 pieces.

In April of last year, Anifa Mvuemba was among the designers chosen to receive grant and a year of mentorship from the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. When announcing that year’s finalists, Tom Ford—who will soon be succeeded by Thom Browne as the new CFDA chairman—praised the group of designers for their work amid a period of “reinvention and transformation” in the fashion industry.

“The program’s new format aims to help the designers better navigate and thrive in fashion’s future,” Ford said at the time.

In February, Anifa joined several other designers for a collaborative editorial campaign for Harlem’s Fashion Row and Barbie.
