Gigi Hadid Puts 'Idiot' Attacker in His Place Following Bizarre Encounter in Milan

Gigi Hadid was attacked by an alleged "internet prankster" in Milan and her response was perfect.

Despite the seeming boringness of doing the exact same thing over and over again for centuries, humans have continued their quest to be the absolute worst well into 2016. Take this dude, for example, who apparently thought attacking Gigi Hadid in front of a swarm of cameras in Milan was a good idea. Just an overeager fan? Nah.

Hadid was walking hand in hand with her sister Bella Thursday morning while leaving the Max Mara show at Milan Fashion Week when, out of nowhere, a dude the Daily Mailbelieves to be "internet prankster" Vitalii Sediuk popped up. As this guy tried to physically lift Hadid off the ground, the model was forced to "lash out using her firsts and elbows" before security intervened. "Who the fuck are you?" Hadid reportedly told the attacker. "You piece of shit."

Sadly, many headlines quickly gravitated toward the "overeager fan" explanation of the attack while annoyingly casting Hadid's response in a negative light. But don't worry. Hadid isn't here for that nonsense at all:

Earlier this month, Hadid landed on the 25th anniversary cover of Dazed. In the accompanying interview with Kate Moss' 13-year-old daughter, Lila Moss Hack, Hadid spoke on the importance of keeping different body types front and center in fashion. "I think that's where we should start: teaching models to put out a body image that they are happy and comfortable with, so that girls who relate to them know it's coming from a good place," Hadid said.
