Fear of God and Birkenstock Partner on New Collab Collection

The new year is bringing with it a new collaboration from Fear of God and Birkenstock.

As seen in action in the official campaign images from photographer Joshua Kissi below, the two brands have partnered on what’s being billed as a “new footwear proposition.” For the collab, the Jerry Lorenzo-founded label has developed a Los Feliz sandal in partnership with Birkenstock’s 1774 division.

As Birkenstock CEO Oliver Reichert said in collab-promoting press materials, the team-up is built on a mutual appreciation for “elevated craftsmanship” in fashion.

“The Los Feliz sandal is a sleek and tangible expression of both brands shared guiding principles of intentionality and inclusivity,” Reichert said. “By fusing the Birkenstock footbed and single strap design with Fear of God’s distinct and refined aesthetic, we continue to foster innovation with likeminded visionaries.”

The Germany-made Los Feliz silhouette is available for adults and kids and is being rolled out in five different colorways. The suede adults option—available in ash, cement, and taupe colorways—will be launched online on Jan. 25 and at select retailers worldwide on Jan. 27. Meanwhile, the wool felt option—available in cement and ash melange—will launch online on Feb. 22 and at select retailers on Feb. 24.
