Dior’s history of tweed is celebrated in the new Summer 2024 men’s collection, which was recently debuted with a show in Paris.
The show, notably, also marked creative director Kim Jones’ fifth year with the label.
“At the heart of Dior is silhouette, shape, technique, and fabrication of the very highest order,” Jones said of the new collection, which he bills as a “collage of influences” touching on multiple eras of Dior’s menswear story. “I like to think that in my five years of being here—his is my fifth-anniversary show and collection—I have never forgotten this.”
