Billionaire Girls Club, Sad Girls Club, and Mad Juicy have linked up for a special Mental Health Awareness Month campaign.
The collaborative effort sees the three prominent voices spotlighting what they say are nutritional practices that can promote positive mental health. Throughout May, the community is invited to pay a visit to the Mad Juicy bar in Harlem, New York and the Billionaire Girls Club’s home at the BBC ICECREAM New York City flagship to try a juice from the curated Feel Good menu.
The special menu features two natural juices made from organic serotonin-boosting ingredients including citrus, ginger, watermelon, and coconut water.
A Feel Good Spotify playlist—also curated by the three brands—will be updated weekly. The campaign culminates with a Soul Session event hosted by Sad Girls Club and Billionaire Girls Club at the BBC ICECREAM NYC flagship on May 21 starting at 10:30 a.m. ET. The session, which will also be streamed on Instagram, will lead into an in-store DJ performance from Mad Juicy founders Angel + Dren.
Elyse Fox, founder of Sad Girls Club, will also be providing mental health tips all month on Complex SHOP.
Commemorating this special campaign, a small capsule will be dropping on May 20 at 12 p.m. ET on the BBC ICECREAM site. The capsule features a t-shirt, tote bag, and a selection of keychains. Proceeds from the t-shirt will be given to Sad Girls Club, a non-profit organization that aims to diminish the stigma around mental health topics.
