ASAP Rocky, PacSun, and Vans Launch ASAP Worldwide Slip-Ons Collab

For the second drop of their collaboration with Guest Artistic Director ASAP Rocky, PacSun is linking with Vans.

Launching under the ASAP Worldwide moniker, the latest entry in the PacSun and Vans partnership includes fresh make-ups of the Classic Slip-On and the Classic Slip-On Mule. The featured design expands on the Rocky-crafted flame motif from the first release.

Both styles are reworked in black canvas. The Slip-On adds the “Jazz” sidestripe previously seen on the Old Skool, while both models feature a co-branded footbed (appropriately flame-filled) and contrast white toe cap.

“Vans slip-ons are classics,” Rocky said in a statement on Wednesday. “Was cool to put my own spin on a shoe that I have always loved. These fit [with] everything.”

PacSun President Brie Olson, meanwhile, said it’s been “truly inspiring” to watch Rocky put his own spin on the brand since being named Guest Artistic Director.

“As a longtime partner of Pacsun to now Guest Artistic Director, it has been a real pleasure collaborating to give our customers and his fans the opportunity to purchase his merchandise at Pacsun,” Olson said.

When first taking on the first-of-its-kind PacSun role back in July, Rocky said the partnership was special to him because it brought together a number of heritage brands and his individual roots. Looking ahead at the time, Rocky also told fans to expect releases from the collab that were at once “nostalgic and forward.”

The ASAP Worldwide Classic Slip-On and Classic Slip-On Mule will be available via PacSun and Vans sites, as well as in PacSun and Vans stores across the U.S. starting Sept. 16.
