The Met Gala is back. This year's theme is "Manusx Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology," which means, depending on how literal celebrities take the theme, can result in a very interesting red carpet. And very hilarious memes.
But (luckily), there were a few who didn't take it too far. Guys like Wiz Khalifa and Idris Elba actually showed up in something they wouldn't regret the morning after. Here Are The Best Dressed From This Year's Met Gala.
Wiz Khalifa
It's easy for guys to get lazy and just throw on a black tux. But Wiz went for a custom off white rag & bone shawl collar tuxedo that he actually pulls off and a pair of Gucci loafers. How times have changed.
Carmelo Anthony
It's tough for any 6'8" guy to dress well, but Carmelo Anthony nails it in this custom Public School tux. Sure, his suit isn't as dramatic as La La's red gown but sometimes simplicity goes a long way.
Idris Elba
The British god came through in a Tom Ford suit the way any Met Gala co-host should.
Colin Farrell
Who knew Colin was even invited to the Met Gala? Regardless, this is how you do a red carpet.
Rami Malek
Mr. Robot himself shows you everything you need to know about deviating from the classic black tux with a little color in this Dior Homme number.
Willow and Jaden Smith
If you had any doubts about the Smith siblings' position as heir to the Young Hollywood style throne, let their effortlessly cool, coordinating 'fits tonight (Chanel and Louis Vuitton, no less) silence you once and for all.
Nick Jonas
Nick Jonas, in custom Topman, rolled deep with other celebs dressed by the mass retailer, including actor Douglas Booth and model Kate Upton.
The Weeknd
The Weeknd just said "nah" to the theme. But at least he went for a clean black tux, and has Bella Hadid on his arm.
Orlando Bloom
Yes, Bloom's Prada tux is tailored well, and the maroon is a subtle breath of fresh air. But that Tamagotchi lapel pin is what really sealed the deal for him tonight.
