In the small town of Hengstdijk, Zeeland lies the The Buddhist Meditation Center, Mette Vihara. This recently built facility boasts red cedar beams, white wood frames insulating the windows, a meditation hall, a library, and a complimentary dining hall. Also available are 26 beds within 13 bedrooms.

In the process of building this facility, no materials were wasted. Leftover wood from construction was recycled on the building's terrace walls. Regardless of the facility's practices, there's no doubt this structure is thoughtfully designed and well-executed.
