The Whitney Art Party is recognized as one of the most important art events of the year. The party and auction continually feature a wide range of works compiled from many different genres of art, including from some of today's most prominent contemporary artists like KAWS, Andrea Bowers, and Liz Magic Lazer.
This year, the party will be a little different, since the museum is collaborating with Artsy on an e-commerce pre-sale of the actual auction itself. In hopes of building international awareness of the event, select works from the auction are on sale on Artsy through April 30 with all proceeds going towards art education.
