Success Kid is more than just the coolest kid to ever hit the Internet; he also helps people stop and appreciate all of the little things in life. But where did he come from? Believe it or not, Success Kid has a real name and it is Sammy Griner. The popular image of Sammy with a smug look and fist pump was taken by his photographer mom, Laney Griner in 2007, just a few weeks before his first birthday.
Success Kid's fame has since spread like crazy. His meme was used by Virgin Media for a marketing campaign in 2012. Later he became the face of Vitamin Water advertisements as well.
