Michael Jordan’s crying face is easily one of the most meme-d faces on the internet. Aside from the level of roast one can incur on another individual by applying Jordan’s tear-streaked face over theirs, whoever applies it the fastest can almost inevitably bank on it getting a lot of likes and retweets. It’s the meme that won’t die.

This NBA Finals series didn’t see any lack of opportunity to plaster Jordan’s face all over Kevin Love, Lebron James, and Steph Curry’s. However, last night’s game 7 aired the same time as another as another show that has provided us all with a crying face used to ether friends, foes, and your favorite celebrities across the internet: Kim Kardashian. She’s even turned her crying face into an emoji on her app that made a million in one minute. Today we examine who cries harder: the Kardashians every Sunday night on KUWTK or the Cleveland Cavaliers after their long-shot comeback, down 3 games to 1 to beat the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals.

Kim Kardashian

With nine years of Keeping Up With The Kardashians behind us, we’ve got immeasurable amounts of Kim’s iconic crying face. Whether the tears came from legitimate sadness to the sheer panic of losing a diamond earring in the ocean, she has a different cry face for every occasion. To kick things off, it seems a compilation of waterworks from Queen Kim is most fitting.

J.R. Smith

NBA bad boy J.R. Smith—notorious for his many nights at W.I.P. and Greenhouse (two shuttered NYC nightclubs), champion DMer, and only pro-baller to openly admit New York nightlife got the best him—made it rain last night. Unlike most other times, it was tears rather than single dollar bills. With his teammates on court first, and then following the game, discussing the win and his family, we got to see a softer side of J.R. before he headed to Vegas, where he’d likely switch the flowing tears down his face to champagne over the heads of any women in a ten foot radius.

Kris Jenner

Kim cries a lot. It also seems, comparably, Kim is a lot more like Kris than any of the other siblings. But, with an enormously famous family, Kris has plenty of emotional moments. Perhaps, since she is the head of them family, she holds it together a little better, but when it’s within the realm of possibility to find out your son proposed to your daughter’s boyfriend’s baby mama on social media, you might shed a tear or ten. Kris might have more reasons to let it all out than anyone on this list.

Kylie Jenner

Although we see Kylie’s best sides and plenty of lip-syncing on her Snapchat, emoting doesn’t seem to be something she’s embraced yet. There’s been only a few episodes of KUWTK where she’s allowed a tear or two to fall from beneath her fake lashes. It’s unlikely that we’ll get a Kylie Jenner crying face out comparable to MJ’s anytime soon.

Lebron James

With the constant comparisons to MJ, it’s no secret Bron has some big shoes to fill on the court. Kobe is retired, so it’s up to him to see if he can steal Jordan’s legacy of being the greatest player of all time. And after last night’s performance (and subsequent God-level crying faces), it seems BronBron is headed in the right path, not only for his game play but for potential meme domination, too.

The most devastating crying-face-meme-worthy team on TV last night is: The Cleveland Cavaliers.

You can probably watch KUWTK next week and catch a few gif-worthy cry faces from the Kardashian-Jenner squad, but last night’s downpour of Cavalier tears and the pained crying faces from King James and J.R. alone, give new life to the best meme out there—and the internet has already started to make it happen.
