Since Golf Wang's first fashion show in Los Angeles this summer at MADE's event, Tyler the Creator has been steadily expanding his fashion business as more than just tour merchandise. Today, the Odd Future mastermind has dropped a multi-piece capsule that includes a newsboy cap and even boxers.
As is Golf Wang's aesthetic, the collection’s color palette stays on the bright side. With each piece done in an all-over polka dot theme, the range’s prices go from $12 for the socks to $125 for the chinos. A key piece is no doubt the hoodie which rings in at $100 flat. Elsewhere the range offers a long-sleeve flannel, right in time for cold weather.
In addition to those pieces, a cream corduroy backpack is now on the website. With a laptop sleeve and flame-lining, it’s unclear whether this $90 accessory is a part of the polka dot range but it’s a pretty smooth piece.
Image wise, the capsule is a definite departure from other Golf drops like the fall 2016 collection. That release was lensed by Julian Berman and featured animal prints, plaids, and more. Parts of it are still available for purchase on Golf Wang’s site.
