Feeling nostalgic? This week is full of collaborations inspired by some of the biggest pillars of pop culture history. OVO has released a capsule collection celebrating Mike Tyson, Kith is celebrating Spider-Man’s 60th anniversary with a massive collection of its own, and Gavin Mathieu’s Supervsn linked up with Microsoft to create some items nodding to childhood favorite creative tool, MS Paint.
Elsewhere, there are great drops from Denim Tears and Levi’s, Y-3, a curated collection from Throwing Fits available exclusively on MR PORTER, and more. Take a closer look at some of this week’s best style releases below.
Denim Tears x Levi's Season 2

Denim Tears continues its impressive output with Levi’s with a new eight-piece collection. This time, Tremaine Emory strayed away from the popular Cotton Wreath motif to introduce new prints on denim jeans, trucker jackets, and hats that take inspiration from the Gullah Geechee community, descendants of Africans enslaved on the plantations of the lower Atlantic coast. One print features various blue hands to represent the Gullah slaves’ hands turning blue while indigo dying. More colorful quilted cotton pieces showcase the craftsmanship of the Gullah Geechee people. The collection will be available for one day only.
OVO x Mike Tyson

OVO’s latest collaboration is with the Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson. Colorful retro photos of the legendary boxer appear across T-shirts, hoodies, and shorts. A coach jacket and caps reading “Tyson vs. OVO” in a font inspired by promotional items for Tyson’s first bout against Evander Holyfield in 1996 complete the capsule. The man himself even modeled the items in the official lookbook.
Kith x Spider-Man

In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Kith has created an entire capsule collection inspired by Spider-Man. Various eras of the fan-favorite Marvel hero are represented across T-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, caps, and more in adult and kid’s sizing. Kith also dropped a curated selection of vintage memorabilia including action figures, ads, and comics. An original Kith x Spider-Man comic will also be for sale do celebrate the launch. Rounding out the rollout, Kith will be hosting a three-day pop-up in Ronnie Fieg and Peter Parker’s hometown of Queens, New York, the first time Kith has hosted a space in the borough.
Gavin Mathieu x Microsoft

Supervsn founder Gavin Mathieu has collaborated with Microsoft for a nostalgic clothing capsule titled Hardwear. The nine-piece collection features graphic T-shirts, sweats, jackets, and caps that nod to retro Microsoft Paint, the program that Mathieu says inspired him to become a designer, and the classic Windows wallpaper.
ICECREAM x Zero Fatigue

Smino’s Zero Fatigue has collaborated with ICECREAM. An acid washed brown hoodie with a satin-lined hood, matching T-shirt, and pink trucker hat each feature a chocolate take on ICECREAM’s signature Cones N Bones graphic. To bring the collab full circle, an ice cream truck will be making stops around Manhattan on July 14.
Y-3 Fall/Winter 2022 Chapter 3

Y-3 continues its 20th anniversary celebration with “Memories of Orange,” a collection that highlights one of the brand’s signature colors. Yohji Yamamoto uses the bright hue to highlight a range of sportswear that includes T-shirts, tracksuits, nylon windbreakers, logo crewnecks, varsity jackets, soccer tops, leggings, and more. There will also be a variety of footwear choices like a bright orange Qasa and and Y-3’s take on the Gazelle.
Zellerfeld x HERON01 Version 0.81

Heron Preston and Zellerfeld have expanded on their beta tester program with an updated HERON01. The shoe is Version 0.81 and was designed following feedback from the release of the Version 0.8 in October 2021. Each upgrade is more like a software update than an entirely new model. Version 0.81 has improved the collar shape, reduced material usage to make a lighter shoe, and added a softer upper. It also boasts a snugger fit, roomier toe box, higher heel inclination, optimized arch support, and an optimized midsole design. To coincide with the release of their latest update, Zellerfeld has also unveiled an iPhone app to apply for their beta program that lets you scan your foot for proper sizing. Anyone who becomes a beta tester will be able to purchase the shoes and be granted one free update when the next iteration is released by providing feedback and returning their old pair.
MR PORTER x Throwing Fits

MR PORTER has partnered with Throwing Fits hosts Lawrence Schlossman and James Harris on a special release hitting the popular menswear retailer this Friday. The collection will consist of over 70 pieces created by 13 of the duo’s favorite brands: All Caps Studio, Beams Plus, Connor McKnight, Drakes, Hayato Today, Maiden Name, MF Pen, Monitaly, Norbit by Hiroshi Nozawa, Stoffa, Tory Van Thompson, Wythe New York and Yuketen. Exclusive Throwing Fits merch will also be up for grabs.

Opening Ceremony is continuing its 20th anniversary celebration with this new collab with Raul Lopez’s LUAR. Two limited edition colorways of LUAR’s Ana Mini bag will be available, tobacco pony hair-effect leather and black-and-cream snakeskin-embossed vegan leather. A black crewneck with “Feeding a Child of the Ocean’’ by Dominican-American artist Bony Ramirez printed across the back completes the small assortment.
Carhartt WIP x Suicoke

Suicoke’s latest collaborator is Carhartt WIP. The two brands have joined forces to create DEPA and MOTO sandals inspired by Carhartt’s Detroit work jackets. K.NGSLEY Collection 1 Act 2
