Supreme has linked up with Yohji Yamamoto once again for a capsule inspired by Tekken, CDG is released over 30 items adorned with cute images of Pikachu, and Krool Toys is unleashing its first assortment of graphic T-shirts complete with a nod to Taj the Genie. Supreme x Yohji Yamamoto

Supreme’s second collaboration with legeendary Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto pulls inspiration from one of the greatest fighting game series of all time, Tekken. More obvious nods include silk button-ups covered in an all-over print of the character select screen, knit sweaters and bomber jackets featuring fighters from the game, and co-branded items inspired by the Tekken logo. Other highlights from the drop include suits and Doc Martens covered in a colorful pattern that looks handpainted along with split-colored leather sets made in collaboration with Vanson.

CDG x Pokémon

Comme des Garçons’ secondary label CDG is the latest brand to collaborate with the iconic Pokémon franchise. Ash Ketchum’s sidekick Pikachu appears on a variety of pieces including liner jackets, button-up shirts, striped T-shirts, and various accessories.

Sinclair is releasing the first drop from its “Bigger Than Before” collection this week. The line introduces cut and sew items such as wool button-up vests, double knee pants, and two-toned windbreakers. There are also a variety of new logo T-shirts and trucker caps available.

Krool Toys

Krool Toys, a New York City-based brand known for creating original Gameboy games and toys inspired by some of your favorite musicians, is expanding its offering to include apparel. Its Fall 2022 drop features a range of graphic T-shirts that aim to merge the Indian and Middle Eastern backgrounds of creators Tia Chinai and Stefan Cohen with some of their favorite pop culture references. Imagery includes nods to Doraemon, Jigglypuff, and Taj the Genie from the Nintendo 64 classic Diddy Kong Racing. Logo T-shirts, sticker packs, and a limited run of game cartridges inspired by Playboi Carti’s Whole Lotta Red will also be up for grabs.

Polo is celebrating some its origins with the first curated assortment dubbed Polo Originals. The collection is comprised of some of the most iconic designs from across the brand’s history including the Cricket Sweater, striped rugby sweaters, patchwork cardigans, and the always-popular Polo Bear knit sweater. This particular version features the lovable bear in a preppy ensemble complete with a newsboy cap and argyle socks.

Mingo by Domingo x Sweet Chick

Maryland-based Mingo by Domingo has tapped popular restaurant Sweet Chick for an end of summer capsule. Co-branded work jackets available in green and pink/red colorways will be available alongside graphic T-shirts to mark the collaboration.

Pangaia x Kenny Scharf

For its latest collaboration, Pangaia has joined forces with artist Kenny Scharf. Hoodies, trackpants, and T-shirts bearing tree artwork from Scharf like Swamp Style and Paradis Perdu will be available in various colors. Furthering the theme, signature text blocks found on pieces from this capsule include quotes like, “A deep love for trees and the forest is something we all share. Amidst the chaos of a fragile world, our love of nature should come above all else, preserving it for the next generation,” and “Trees are the messengers from another time. Beautiful beings, stable and wise. Dreaming of a brand new world with trees at the heart of it.” This special launch coincides with a huge milestone for Pangaia. The New Blue Collar Weekday Cap

Bauer is tapping into the world of streetwear with its latest collaboration. The hockey brand has linked up with IRAK for a special graphic T-shirt design resembling the uniforms of the New York Rangers. For its latest collab, Guess Originals has decided to partner up with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC to highlight one of the most popular superheroes of all time. The Batman-inspired capsule includes carpenter pants, trucker jackets, knit sweaters, sweatsuits, T-shirts, and more. Most items feature retro imagery pulled from the classic comic book series. A green denim set covered with Guess’ signature question mark motif embossed on certain panels is meant to nod to one of Batman’s foes, the Riddler.

Balmain Blaze Bag

Balmain has recently launched its latest handbag, the Blaze Bag, a name that nods to creative director Olivier Rousteing’s signature tailored blazers. “I wanted the Blaze to be a bag that was definitely going to be noticed. I told my design team that I imagined these bags as being key elements of the boldest possible of entrances,” Rousteing said in an official press release. “For me, these designs evoke the bullet-proof shields carried by the fearless superheroes of my youth—and I really love the idea of our Balmain Blaze adding an empowering sensation of invincibility as the perfect final touch for every ensemble.” The Blaze Bag comes in black, white, or two-toned leather options complete with gold baroque detailing including a “PB” logo clasp at the center.
