But it's not just about rocking the obvious luxury brands like Rick Owens, Givenchy, and Balenciaga and pairing them with sneakers—there are other key players that are involved in this conversation, and they're pivotal to pulling off this look which is made up of streetwear and contemporary brands.
A big part of the street goth look is mixing it up with brands both high and low. Certain labels may not seem as street goth as En Noir, but you can still pull a piece from their collections and build your look around it. T by Alexander Wang
T by Alexander Wang is a collection that you can dress in from head to toe to nail the street goth look. Staple pieces like U-neck tees, hoodies, tailored sweatpants, leggings, shorts, and more can be found in T by Alexander Wang's offerings. This season, the label added a bright neon yellow to the collection which is a great contrast to the usual black clothing. Street goth doesn't only have to be black and white, and this is a great example of that.
Skingraft
Skingraft might be a little on the pricier side of the spectrum, but it's well worth the cash. Any one of the brand's items can easily make or break your street goth look. Sir New York
A newcomer but key player in the street goth scene is Sir New York. STAMPD
Hitting its stride with the spring/summer '13 collection, STAMPD L.A. is a force to be reckoned with. The latest drop of bandana tees and leather snapbacks, plus the latest shoe design are awesome. The crew at STAMPD designed an updated version of a creeper, a shoe that is somewhat hard to pull off without looking like a cartoon character, and blended it with a classic wingtip silhouette, and the result is one of the best shoes to drop this season.
Comune
Comune: another killer brand from L.A. that has been perfecting this look for years. From twill jackets, to selvedge denim, Comune is always pushing the boundaries of design and coming up with new ways to update classics like trucker, parka, and leather jackets.

Oak
The Oak Collection is an extension of of the Oak NYC creative collective that is best known for its retail stores, but the in-house designed collection is not to be overlooked if you want to execute street goth properly. From oversized hoodies to tees cut in interesting ways to look asymmetric, draped, or extra-long in length, Oak's items are a must.
Cheap Monday
Back in 2004 when Cheap Monday first hit the scene, people were a bit thrown off by the logo which featured a skull with a cross carved in to the forehead. That still couldn't offset the allure of the brand's denim which comes with unique washes, rip and repair details, and a great prices. The jeans are $100 or less for the most part. Now the brand has expanded to a full ready-to-wear collection, and neither the pricing nor the quality has changed.
Black Scale
If you've ever had the chance to visit Black Scale's New York City or Los Angeles store and taken in the stark black or white interior, you'd know that the brand is a major player in the dark clothing conversation. Not only does it make T-shirts and hats, but it produces outerwear, a cut and sew collection, accessories like bracelets and necklaces, and even footwear for the loyal fans.
SSUR
It's easy to say that SSUR is one of the most influential brands in this movement. With the re-issue of their Comme des F*ck Down logo a year ago, plus the selection of T-shirts, hoodies, and hats in mostly black and white, SSUR is one of the most affordable and logical brands to incorporate into your street goth kit.
Kill City
This L.A.-based brand embodies rock and roll, and comes at a great price as most items are under $200. Layer its staple items like bomber jackets, parkas, tees, and denim to really nail the look.
