Opening Night Images: Ellen Stagg's "Melting Flesh"
As if the balmy weather on Saturday night in New York City wasn't heady enough, photographer Ellen Stagg's gallery show of taut and enticing naked ladies, entitled "Melting Flesh," opened downtown at Fuse Gallery. The multi-exposed (on so many levels) images have been described as "phantasmagoric," as the overlapping female forms seem to dissolve into each other. Unsurprisingly, the attendees were of a pleasant-looking ilk and we sent party photographer Driven By Boredom's Nate "Igor" Smith to chronicle the sights.
