BAPE is doubling down on function without losing its identity.
According to an official press release, the brand's Performance All Weather (BPAW) line returns for Spring/Summer 2026, with a sharper focus on utility, teaming once again with designer Kazuki Kuraishi to blur the line between streetwear and outdoor gear. You can shop pieces now on Complex.
The drop is built around the idea that movement, through cities, climates, and routines, requires clothing that can keep up. The pieces are designed to handle unpredictable conditions, with fabrics that block wind and rain while staying breathable enough for daily wear.
Technical jackets lead the lineup, combining BAPE's recognizable visuals—like camo patterns and shark motifs—with details you'd expect from performance brands: packable builds, ventilation, and modular elements that can be adjusted on the fly.
Elsewhere, the collection loosens up into lighter layers. Tees, hoodies, and shirts carry the same visual DNA with easier fits and subtle functional upgrades. The collection's pants follow the same logic.
Instead of purely aesthetic silhouettes, the designs prioritize mobility and comfort, adding features like built-in adjustments and lightweight construction that make them practical without losing style.
Footwear also plays a key role. New silhouettes step into more rugged territory, while classic BAPE designs get reworked with traction and durability in mind, another sign the brand is serious about expanding beyond lifestyle wear.
