While most of us will be busy shopping around for the hottest drops at ComplexLand this week, including a standout release from NIGO®, there’s plenty of great drops also arriving outside Complex’s three-day digital event.
Balenciaga’s collaboration with Adidas that was revealed at their Spring 2023 show in New York City this Sunday is now available. Supreme is releasing another great seasonal collaboration with Nike. Awake NY is dropping another pair of Crocs. And yes, a new drop from Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga is set to release this Friday.

Supreme is releasing another seasonal collection of apparel made in collaboration with Nike. For Spring/Summer 2022, the brand will release a hooded jacket, cargo pants, and a six-panel hat made from corduroy in black, purple, and camouflage colorways. Crewnecks and sweatpants will also be available. All the garments feature Supreme’s arc logo alongside Nike’s iconic swoosh.
Balenciaga x Adidas

The Adidas collaboration unveiled at Balenciaga’s New York City runway presentation earlier this week is now available. The limited edition collection features men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, jewelry, and accessories. Footwear within the collection includes Adidas’ take on Balenciaga’s beloved Triple S and Speed sneakers. Standouts include a hooded leather blouson, puffer jackets, oversized denim jeans with Adidas tracksuit stripes, and collaborative hoodies featuring the Adidas Trefoil logo with “Balenciaga” written in the Adidas’ signature font.
20 Years of Complex Merch Designed by NIGO®

Complex has partnered with NIGO® for an exclusive capsule collection that is now available at ComplexLand 3.0. T-shirts, hoodies, and a tote bag featuring a logo NIGO® exclusively designed for Complex will be sold. The graphic is inspired by the Japanese Maneki-Neko, better known as the “Money Cat,” which is a symbol that brings good luck and fortune. “Complex” is written in red across the cat’s stomach and another “Complex” logo featured on products is inspired by “Edomoji,” a traditional Japanese lettering style used in Sumo wrestling that is seen on traditional Japanese signs and clothing. Brain Dead has released its Summer 2022 collection. Bandana hats, button downs, half-zip polos, mesh tanks, and new styles that Brain Dead will introduce for the very first time are now available. Over 100 new pieces have been released for men and women. The women’s collection includes sponge-dyed body suits, jack knife skirts, 3D pucker T-shirts, and ‘70s vintage raglan shirts. Standouts this season include a convertible mountain pant and a “Grafix” team jersey. Graphics this season come from artists like Leomi Sadler, Dripper World, and Braulio.

The second drop from Yeezy Gap’s highly-anticipated collaboration with Balenciaga will arrive on Friday. There is little details surrounding what will release. However, it’s rumored to be the biggest Yeezy Gap drop yet and will possibly feature many of the pieces that were highlighted in the music video for Kanye West’s “Life of the Party.”
HUF x Stüssy

Huf and Stüssy are coming together for the first time in 10 years to release a special capsule collection to celebrate Huf’s 20th anniversary and honor the late Keith Hufnagel—who rode for Stüssy’s skateboard team in the early 2000s before launching Huf in 2002. The collection features two graphic T-shirts with iconic images of Hufnagel skating by Dennis McGrath that are framed by Stüssy’s iconic font. Additionally, a Stüssy NY New Era fitted hat boasting “KEITH FOREVER” designs along the back will also be released.
Awake NY x Crocs

Awake NY will collaborate with Crocs again for a special footwear project available in adult and children’s sizes. The Crocs Classic Clog features a paint splatter pattern against an off-white background. The clog is personalized with Jibbitz™ charms that spell out the brand name and a bunny graphic from Awake NY’s Spring 2022 collection. “These Crocs are an ode to the artisans, craftspeople and makers,” Baque said in a press release. “The design pays homage to my favorite pair of pants, which were custom-made by a very dear friend of mine. I’m in awe of those who work with their hands, especially in today’s times. That’s why I chose to highlight local artisans and spaces for the campaign.” The limited edition Crocs are now available on Awake NY’s web store and will receive a wider release at Foot Locker this Friday.
Bricks & Wood x K-Swiss

The Los Angeles-based label Bricks & Wood has collaborated with K-Swiss on a nostalgic silhouette for the West Coast. Together, both brands have modernized the all-white Classic LX. Bricks & Wood’s take on the shoe boasts suede and leather uppers, a micro corduroy tongue, and icy bottoms instead of classic gum soles. However, the shoe is just a small part of a larger initiative between Bricks & Woods and K-Swiss. Together, both brands have launched a “Design Program” that will teach eight kids from Los Angeles to learn how to design their own sneaker. It is the first initiative for their organization dubbed “For Daily Use,” which will create a space for the past, present, and future of Black design through executing campaign, shoe design details, activations, and more. Additional details surrounding For Daily Use will roll out this week. Hoodies and T-shirts commemorating the launch of the new program are available now.
Uniqlo x Marni

Uniqlo’s first collaborative collection with the Italian fashion label Marni is now available in select Uniqlo stores and online. The collection features men’s and women’s apparel that builds off of Uniqlo’s staple pieces and uses it as a canvas for Marni’s distinct use of colors and patterns. The pieces are colorful, fun, wearable and available at accessible price points. Homage Year by Antoine Manning will release five new exclusive colorways and a never-before-seen “Mini Mini” size of its popular Ova Manifestation Bags at Nordstrom x Nike activations in-stores and online. Homage Year’s partnership with Nordstrom marks the first time these bags will be sold in stores. The bag comes in three different sizes: “Classic,” “Mini,” and “Mini Mini.” The “Mini Mini” size will only be available in-store.
Dutch Tulip Financial

Dutch Tulip Financial, a New York City-based streetwear label that’s known for making social commentary by creating graphic apparel that’s created under a fake bank dubbed “Dutch Tulip Financial,” has released “Satoshi Nakamoto” and “Original DeepFake” T-shirts. Nakamoto is a name familiar to any Bitcoin enthusiast because of the drama that surrounds the mysterious identity of Bitcoin’s inventor/founder. The brand flipped Yohji Yamamoto’s iconic logo by replacing the Japanese designer’s name with Nakamoto’s. The label’s Original DeepFake T-shirts are a flip of KAWS’ now-defunct streetwear label, Original Fake, and comment on the dangers of DeepFake technology by featuring DeepFake images of Mark Zuckerberg, Obama, Putin, and Nancy Pelosi.
Engineered Garments x Suicoke

Engineered Garments and Suicoke will collaborate on their first partnership this Spring/Summer season. Using Suicoke’s KAW-CAB model, the capsule features original bespoke fabrication from Engineered Garments that boasts a unique, watercolor-esque pattern on the upper paired with Suicoke’s ripple outsole. The sandals are well-cushioned, boast an adjustable Velcro closure, and feature anti-bacterial footbed technology. Two colorways will be available.
Warby Parker x Toro y Moi

Warby Parker’s latest collaborator is singer Toro y Moi. Inspired by his latest album Mahal, the collaboration will offer two summery colorways of the Mahal sunglasses. One will feature bright orange frames, while the other opts for clear acetate. Each is completed with orange-tinted lenses.

LaLa Romero and Natalia Durazo’s streetwear brand Bella Doña has developed a cult following over the years with its designs for women celebrating Los Angeles and Chicano culture. Now, Nordstrom shoppers will have a chance to experience what makes Bella Doña so great. Apparel like satin bomber jackets, graphic T-shirts, and basketball jerseys from the brand are now available via the department store’s site and select physical locations. Along with clothing, there will also be cosmetics like lipstick and eyeliner, as well as jewelry like dangly “Mija” earrings and “West Coast” anklet braclets.

The Los Angeles based community-oriented streetwear brand Born X Raised has just revealed that it will be holding a Memorial Day sale that will include collectible and coveted pieces from past collections as well as some new and never-before-seen items. A limited capsule will launch at noon PST this Friday on bornxraised.com and will be available through the Memorial Day weekend. While it’s unknown what the brand will release, pieces from collaborations with Awake NY and the LA Dodgers will be available.
