Kenzo is releasing another drop from its Fall/Winter 2022 collection designed by Nigo. At last, Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition has landed at the Brooklyn Museum and is rife with great merch that pays tribute to the groundbreaking designer. Crenshaw Skate Club has a great new run of graphic T-shirts and other summer-ready apparel. And Nina Chanel Abney is set to release a stellar collaboration with Jordan Brand.

Crenshaw Skate Club, the Los Angeles-based skateboard label by Tobey McIntosh, will release a summer capsule on Saturday. Bright graphic T-shirts, mesh shorts, tote bags, and enamel pins will be available. The collection pulls inspiration from the joy of childhood summers. Art printed across the apparel references nostalgic candy and cereal labels.

Kenzo’s second drop from its Fall/Winter 2022 collection is has arrived. The range covers menswear and womenswear by Kenzo’s newest creative director Nigo. A wide assortment of garments such as hoodies, suits, denim jackets, dresses, knit pullovers, and more are now available. As seen at the runway presentation in January, Kenzo Takada’s original sketches appear throughout. Standout pieces from the second drop boast a print handpainted by Fujimura Shuji, an artist who is teaching Nigo how to make traditional ‘Aka-e’ pottery.

Brooklyn Museum 'Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech' Merch

The Brooklyn Museum has released official merch for “Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech,” a retrospective exhibition on Abloh’s illustrious career that opened last week in New York City. The collection includes Champion pullover hoodies, mesh trucker hats, short-sleeve T-shirts, and canvas totes that were conceived by Abloh before his passing last year. Coffee mugs, keychains, an exhibition poster, a sticker set, postcards, and more are also available. The original exhibition book will also be re-published and sold at the Brooklyn Museum.

It’s the first hiking collection from the popular contemporary activewear label. The popular crystal artist, Dan Life, has teamed up with the legendary New York City artist Kenny Scharf to design a shining crystal pendant collection. Dan Life has developed four handcrafted, crystalized depictions of Scharf’s tondo artwork. All of the collaborative pendants will be released in limited runs of 200 and will give fans of Scharf a rare opportunity to obtain a wearable piece of his artwork. Each features crystals hand set in resin, 14k yellow or black gold plating, and a .925 sterling silver chain.

Nina Chanel Abney x Jordan Brand

Jordan Brand’s anticipated capsule collection with acclaimed artist Nina Chanel Abney will drop this Friday. Eleven genderless pieces including ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories with Abney’s unique take on Jordan Brand’s motifs will be available. A hoodie, top, funnel-neck top, pants, sports bra, and T-shirt will compliment the release of an Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 2 Low. Standout art on the garments feature biographical moments from Michael Jordan’s career.

Sergio Tacchini x Yardsale

Sergio Tacchini has partnered with the South London-based skate brand Yardsale on an apparel collection that blends luxury sportswear with retro ‘90s style. The standout pieces from the capsule are a head-to-toe cotton terry cloth tracksuit and a cotton piqué polo featuring throwback-inspired graphics that come off as an oversized print on the shoulder. A special Sergio Tacchini and Yardsale logo is found on a premium hoodie and T-shirt, while a curved visor 6-panel cap features embroidered co-branding to round out the collection.
