Now that 4/20 is over and the smoke has cleared, it’s time to rub your eyes and open them up to another week of great style releases from your favorite brands. Fear of God has just released a range of new products from its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Babylon Los Angeles has teamed up with Off-White for another great collaboration. And Supreme is teaming up with the Nephentes brand South2 West8 on a collection that highlights functional fly fishing apparel. Heron Preston is also releasing a collaboration with Calvin Klein and new apparel with Caterpillar.

Fear of God "Seventh Collection"

Fear of God’s “Seventh Collection” zeroes in on Italian tailoring, centered on Californian blazers, suit jackets, and everyday sportcoat silhouettes. It also gives stylistic nods to late ‘80s and early ‘90s American archetypes while championing ease and comfort. A standout piece is the Overcoat, a wardrobe staple that is offered in three signature colorways. Another highlight from the brand’s newest offerings is the crepe shirt, which is available in two colorways as a long sleeve and short sleeve with shoulder pads. There are 22 styles of footwear to peruse including new mules, tennis sneakers, espadrilles, moccasins, boat sneakers, and wallabee styles. Track pants, shorts, souvenier jackets, and car coats made out of Italian Iridescent Nylon are also available. Fear of God’s newest accessories include Gabardine Hats and Leather Visors. Babylon LA and Off-White come together once again for their third collaboration titled “Ill Wind.” It’s the first time these two brands have joined forces in five years. As seen in previous collaborations, the artist Othelo Gervacio was comissioned to use his signature watercolor style to depict ravished blowing palm trees and broken umbrellas across an array of garments. The capsule collection includes custom work jackets, T-shirts, hoodies, sweats, pins, and an umbrella. The highlight of this collection is a limited, 144-page art book curated by Babylon LA & Off-White that features works from artists such as Cali Dewitt, Verdy, Sancheeto, Peter Sutherland, Matt McCormick, Kosuke Kawamura, Mario Ayala, MQ, and more. The brands have also enlisted Knxwledge to produce a flexi 7-inch vinyl that will be included with the book. It features a new song by Knxwledge that interpolates Sarah Vaughn’s jazz song “Ill Wind” that inspired the collection’s name and the graphics.
Supreme x South2 West8

Founded back in 2002 by Kaname Nagaoka, South2 West8 is a Hokkaido-based Nephentes imprint inspired by Tenkara, a traditional Japanese fly fishing technique that roughly translates to “From the sky” or “From Heaven.” South2 West8’s elevated outdoor clothing is defined by its utilitarian function and technical fabrics. Supreme’s first collaboration with the brand includes the River Trek Jacket and Pants, a Bush Parka with a matching Vest, a Mesh Game Bag, a Jungle Hat, Tulip Hat and a Bush Balaclava. A fleece jacket with a barbed wire graphic is also available in several colorways along with a matching pair of Belted Pants. A long sleeve shirt with the barbed wire graphic is also available in multiple two-tone colorways. Of course, a co-branded Tenkara Fishing Rod with Supreme’s classic red and white colors rounds out the collection.

Earlier this month, the Berlin based media and fashion brand 032c launched its Spring/Summer 2021 collection: “SYSTÈME DE LA MODE.” The label’s ongoing collaborative partnership with Adidas expands on that collection with two new sneaker silhouettes, the 032c GSG TR and 032c GSG Mule. The 032c GSG TR is a mid-cut runner with reflective 3M details, a drawstring closure, and 032c branding on the heel and tongue. Featuring a specially crafted neoprene upper with synthetic overlays, the shoe is available in either a “stone grey/dove grey” colorway with neon hits or a hi-res “yellow/pulse lemon” with black hits. The 032c GSG Mule is a military-inspired mule with a neoprene upper that sits atop a solid rubber outsole. Salvatore Ferragamo has just unveiled the F-80 Skeleton Sustainable watch, a sustainable re-edition of one of its most successful timepieces. Available in green and blue versions, each is limited to 200 pieces. The F-80 Skeleton boasts an elegant black satin case that contains an automatic movement visible through the transparent caseback and the skeleton dial with the brand’s iconic double Gancini symbol.
