Although we won't be able to purchase the latest looks being debuted at Paris Fashion Week just yet, there are plenty of great releases to pick up this week. Reese Cooper has just dropped a capsule that benefits the Mt. Wilson Observatory and National Forest Foundation. Stüssy has collaborated with Nike on an eco-friendly collection that's ripe for the last weeks of winter. This week is also rife with art collaborations. Futura has released bags with Ojejito, Uniqlo is collaborating with the late Jason Polan, Hublot dropped a watch with Takashi Murakami, and the Brooklyn-based brand Tier is releasing a collab with the Haitian-American artist, Pierre Jean-Baptiste.

Reese Cooper Benefit Capsule

For Reese Cooper's AW21 show & collection “Pyrophyte,” Reese Cooper photographed the collection at the legendary Mt. Wilson Observatory in the Angeles National Forest. Three months ago, a Bobcat Fire destroyed over 111,000 acres of the San Gabriel Mountain, which is within 500 feet of the Observatory. Although the Observatory was saved, it remains closed due to the impact of the fires. As a small token of the brand's appreciation, Reese Cooper has created a collection of special pieces to raise money to support the Mt. Wilson Observatory and the National Forest Foundation. 100% of the proceeds from this collection will go to the Observatory and the National Forest Foundation. The special collection, featuring three T-shirts and three hoodies, is available for pre-order and are expected to ship by March 5, 2021.
Tier "Project 3: Joy to the World"

Tier is a New York City-based fashion brand by Brooklyn natives, Nigeria Ealey, Victor James, and Esaie Jean Simon. The CFDA and Vogue Funded fashion brand will release its latest collection, "Project 3: Joy to the World," this Friday. The collection features art direction from the Haitian-American artist, Pierre Jean-Baptiste. From canvas paintings to knitwear and heavy cottons garments, the artwork across the garments in this collection includes representations of Black joy, community, currency, beauty, and power.
Stüssy x Nike

Stüssy has collaborated with Nike on a collection engineered for the elements. The collaboration features insulated, translucent, ripstop nylon jackets with a gradient green print. The main body fabric is made from at least 75% recycled nylon and insulated with EcoDown, a down alternative made from recycled polyester. Stüssy has also commissioned five unique hand-dyed Air Force 1s. A limited quantity will be available on its online shop on Friday as well.

Uniqlo x Jason Polan

Uniqlo will launch a UT collection in collaboration with the late Jason Polan, a prolific New York City artist who roamed the city sketching images that captured the essence of New York City. The collection includes nine pieces for adults, seven for kids, and 12 accessories showcasing Polan's iconic style. The clothing and accessories feature drawings from Polan's time in Tokyo and his love of sketching giraffes, hamburgers, and tigers. Uniqlo’s 5th Avenue location will unveil an in-store "World’s Biggest Drawing Club" area where customers can celebrate Polan's life and love of drawing by creating anything that inspires them. Those unable to come in person can submit their creations via UNIQLO’s hashtag #WorldsBiggestDrawingClub, entering for a chance to be featured on Uniqlo's special website.
Ojejito x Futura

Ojeito, a new lifestyle brand designed in Los Angeles and Portland but crafted in Tokyo makes its debut with a Futura collaboration. Founded by Jeese Leyva, who was previously the Senior Global Creative Director of Nike SB and ACG, Ojeito’s Go-kits are multi-purpose bags. The brand aims to solve the issue of having to many accessory bags and wasting time digging around for essentials. When customers purchase an Ojejito backpack or tote bag, they also get a Go-kit, which is a set of three bags that helps organize daily essentials into small, medium and large bags. Futura's collaboration takes the Go-packs and renders them in a quad-format camo scheme created by the artist.
Takashi Murakami x Hublot

The Classic Fusion watch by Takashi Murakami is inspired by Murakami’s icon, the smiling flower. Here, it is present both in and on the watch. Thanks to an ingenious ball-bearing system developed by Hublot’s engineers, its petals start turning. The center of the smiling flower is inserted onto the sapphire glass, creating a unique three-dimensional effect to go along with its wide prominent smile. The petals and watch face are set with black diamonds. The watch is limited to only 200 models.
Fragment Design x Beats Powerbeats Pro

Fragment Design is collaborating with Beats to release a limited-edition Powerbeats Pro. For this collaboration, Powerbeats Pro comes in a minimalist, tonal black design that features the distinctive twin-lightning logo on one earbud with Hiroshi Fujiwara's namesake logo on the other. It is accompanied by a matching battery case and decals. Beats and Fragment previously collaborated on a futuristic chrome collection in 2014 and have since partnered on several bespoke products and projects including a custom BeatsX and “the VINYL” record shop. This will mark the second official product release for the two brands. The wireless earphones are sweat and water-resistant, have an adjustable ear hook, include physical volume and track controls on each earbud, have 9 hours of listening time and more than 24 hours of combined playback with the magnetic closure case. The headphones can be used for up to 4.5 hours after 15 minutes of charging.

Last month, Helmut Lang and Saintwoods released their exclusive capsule, "See You Soon." The collection is now available at SSENSE and features four exclusive items including the Taxi Hoodie in grey, Taxi T-shirt in white, Boat T-shirt in white, and Plane T-shirt in black. “See You Soon” offers a welcome escape back into the adventurous world of an international jet set lifestyle through three newly designed graphics. Each illustration embodies the key means of transportation, including a plane, sailboat, and cab. The latter is a nod to the iconic Helmut Lang Taxi top from 1998, when the label was the first fashion brand to advertise on taxis.

The limited edition shirt for men and shirt-dress for women will benefit local Oakland charities that are all focused on moving the Black community forward. Each includes Adaptive Comfort technology for body temperature regulation. The left sleeve incorporates an embroidered graphic of protestors representing the values of resilience, resistance, and justice. A percentage of the sales of "1619 and Beyond" will be donated to the Black Futures Lab, 510 Hope Foundation, and UMBER Publishing.

CMMND is releasing a collaborative collection with UCLA, where the brand was originaly founded. The collection draws inspiration from '60s and '70s collegiate wear. It was inspired from 100 years worth of archived UCLA apparel that the brand was exclusively granted access to.
