The end of summer is just days away. So it’s time to pack away those swim trunks and sandals to make room for some proper autumn apparel. Supreme is collaborating with Nike ACG for stylish and functional apparel. Denim Tears has released an unexpected collaboration with Skepta that celebrates the UK rapper’s recent foray into painting. Sky High Farm is dropping a charitable release with Balenciaga, Palace is releasing outerwear with Engineered Garments, and The North Face is collaborating with Gucci again.

Supreme x Nike ACG

Supreme has collaborated with Nike ACG for a special collection centered on denim and fleece garments. Pullovers, pants, shorts, jerseys, short-sleeve tops and 6-panel caps will be available. The denim offerings are made out of water-resistant Cordura cotton denim. The main standout from the collection is an ACG Fleece Pullover that boasts a balaclava-esque hood. A DRI-FIT ACG Jersey and an ACG Grid T-shirt rounds out the collaborative collection.

To celebrate Skepta’s collaboration with Sotheby’s for their Contemporary Curated series, Skepta has teamed up with Denim Tears on exclusive apparel. Skepta’s first painting, which is featured in his curated auction for Sotheby’s, built the foundation for the garments seen throughout the collection. A graphic T-shirt featuring Skepta’s painting, titled ‘Mama Goes To Market,’ kicks off the collection. Hoodies, tote bags, scarfs, and Levi’s 501 jeans flip elements from Skepta’s painting into unique patterns. The jeans, tote bags and hoodies are all hand-painted in Los Angeles.
Vrigil Abloh x Louis Vuitton x Assouline

The book publisher Assouline is set to release a book by Louis Vuitton that commemorates the late Virgil Abloh’s tenure as the luxury house’s creative director of menswear. The book is available in two different covers and features 359 pages, plus over 320 illustrations, that capture Abloh’s illustrious career for the French fashion house. For $1,200, collectors can also buy an “Ultimate”edition of the book that is housed inside a box inspired by the container installations from Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2021 menswear show in Miami. The Ultimate edition of the book is made in Italy, includes a clamshell in printed silk with foil stamping, white gloves, and a large signature canvas tote bag. Additionally, the Ultimate edition includes a removable glossary highlighting Virgil Abloh’s sneakers for Louis Vuitton.
Sky High Farm x Balenciaga

The final installment of Sky High Farm Workwear’s series of charitable collaborations to support Sky High Farm 501(C)(3) charity is centered on Balenciaga. All of the profits will go towards Sky High Farm, which will use the funds to further its commitment to promote regenerative farming practices and offer environmentally holistic, equity-focused approachs to promoting food sovereignty. Their collaboration with Balenciaga features two different reversible silhouettes. A shirt and a jacket embossed with “Balenciaga” on the collar will be available in black and white colorways. Each piece will feature an image of a Sky High Farm pig, rooster or lamb on one side that was photographed by Ryan McGinley. Sky High Farm and Balenciaga’s logos are featured on the other.

As many Ralph Lauren fans know, the revered New York-born fashion designer got his start selling ties at Bloomingdale’s. Polo by Ralph Lauren would go on to become Bloomingdale’s first in-store boutique dedicated to a single designer. To celebrate the heritage American department store’s 150th anniversary, Polo Ralph Lauren will release a special range of exclusives for the retailer. Naturally, ties are apart of the assortment as well as Ralph Lauren’s classic Polo shirts. The standout pieces are definitely the Polo Bear sweaters and hoodies that feature a Polo bear carrying Bloomingdale’s iconic Brown Bag. These will truly become newer collector’s pieces for anyone obsessed with Polo.

Palace’s latest collaboration is with the beloved New York City label Engineered Garments for a hefty collection filled with outdoor clothing. Gore-Tex parkas and trousers in olive or black colorways, rip stop washed track tops and pants in black or muted cheetah print, patchwork check shirts, patchwork fleece hoodies and heavy duty T-shirts in olive, navy, black and white will be available. Gore-Tex caps and explorer hats nicely round out the rain ready collection.

Awake New York will release a 14-piece collaboration this week. Brigade, a New York City-based lifestyle brand that was recently featured in ComplexLand’s ‘Brands To Watch’ space, has unveiled a collaboration with heritage clothing company Stan Ray. Originally founded in Texas in 1972, Stan Ray has specialized in crafting denim and workwear in the United States for nearly three generations. For this collaboration, Brigade has revived vintage denim last sold by Stan Ray in the 1990s, along with workwear apparel designed by Brigade. Raw denim jeans, orignal Stan Ray painter pants from the 1990s, “The World is Ours Work” shirt, a “Protect the Peace” bandana, and a “Wife Pleaser” script logo tank top will be available.

Blue Bodega is a New York City-based label that specializes in making functional accessories and apparel. Many of the label’s products call out New York City’s rich graffiti culture.
