Halloween is less than a week away. If you didn’t end up buying a costume yet, don’t sweat it. You might as well put those hard earned dollars to picking up some fresh new wares from a number of great releases this week. Cactus Plant Flea Market is set to drop a collaborative apparel collection with Nike. Denim Tears is back with a surprise drop of Levi’s 501s that commemorate the late Virgil Abloh. KAWS has released another collaboration with The North Face, Supreme is dropping more co-branded apparel with Dickies, and Pangaia is releasing a surprising collaboration with Victor Victor.

Denim Tears

Earlier this year, Tremaine Emory collaborated with Virgil Abloh Securities to release Pyrex Tears. It was a posthumous collaboration that paid homage to Abloh’s first label, Pyrex Vision, and was exclusively released to commemorate Abloh’s Figures of Speech exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum. This week, Denim Tears has returned with a new addition to that collaboration that’s centered around a pair of Levi’s 501s. The jeans features an anarchist iteration of Denim Tears’ popular cotton wreath motifs on one leg and the exhibition’s slogan, “Sunroof of the Trojan Horse,” printed down the other.
KAWS x The North Face

The North Face has collaborated with KAWS again to bring his signature abstract graffiti-inspired patterns to an array of iconic North Face styles from the brand’s beloved Expedition System line. A ‘95 Denali Jacket, ‘94 Himalayan Parka, and a ThermoBall Traction V Mule are standouts within the monochrome collection. While the drop is currently sold out on The North Face’s online store, some pieces are still in stock at retailers like Extra Butter.

After releasing a big collaboration with McDonald’s earlier this month, Cactus Plant Flea Market has returned with new apparel made in collaboration with Nike. Again, Cynthia Lu looked towards both Nike’s rich archive alongside bootleg products sourced from flea markets to develop another standout Nike apparel collection from CPFM's perspective. Grass blankets, fleece crewnecks with a large sock sewed on the chest, checkered waffle pants, quarter-zip fleece tops, and colorblock polos will be available. The standout piece within the entire collection is a green fisherman’s vest inspired jacket with an ample number of pockets.
Brigade

Brigade is celebrating its eighth anniversary with a special Fall 2022 collection. The New York City lifestyle brand’s latest drop includes a lookbook starring the beloved New York City rapper Wiki. The collection was originally unveiled at a launch party at Concepts NYC last week, which included performances by Wiki along with art by graffiti writers such as Skam and Phaser. Brigade’s newest collection will include core logo hoodie printed in reflective 3M, a ringer T-shirt, a “Jersey” T-shirt, a “Brass Monkey” long sleeve, vinyl slipmats, socks, and more. The standout pieces from their Fall 2022 line is a “Balaclava” rain jacket, a pair of belted shorts, and a mesh camp caps crafted with unique waterproof nylon that boasts a multicolor dye.
Supreme x Dickies

Supreme has collaborated with Dickies on a new collection for Fall 2022. The collection will include corduroy work jackets, knit sweaters, thermals, corduroy overalls, corduroy double knee work pants, corduroy trucker caps, and beanies. Other items anticipated to drop this week include a Seiko alarm clock plus satin appliqué hoodies and sweatpants.
Pangaia x Victor Victor

Pangaia is releasing a capsule collection with Victor Victor Worldwide this week. The collection will include three custom graphics designed by NIGO. Each garment features a unique quote about Steven Victor’s iconic dog logo in place of the Pangaia’s signature text block . The quote reads: “The Victor Victor dog is a symbol of protection and courage. Together, we strive for an earth-positive future that empowers the next generation and creates a better planet for all.” A portion of the proceeds from this collaboration will be used to help communities affected by the water crisis in Flint, Michigan through the Victor Victor Foundation—the philanthropic division of Victor’s media company. Two hoodies, a sweatshirt, two pairs of track pants, and two graphic T-shirts will be available.

Reigning Champ has just unveiled the fourth season of its ongoing collaborations with Jide Osifeso, which continues to challenge the archetypes of the modern uniform. This year Clarks Desert Trek silhouette will celebrate its 50th anniversary. A special version of Clarks Desert Trek is celebrates the boot’s distinctive central fore-foot seam, its iconic crepe sole, and original suede color. The 50th anniversary edition includes the Desert Trek’s original fob and a bespoke heel counter design that includes a character wearing a baseball cap and holding a coffee cup. The signature butt seam is left white for a laid-back look on its hairy suede upper. A winterized version of the Desert Trek is also available.
