School is back in session, which means it’s time to finally start putting those good back to school fits together. After you cop a brand new backpack, consider these great drops arriving this week. Brain Dead has collaborated with the heritage climbing brand Gramicci, Dr. Martens is dropping another sandal with Suicoke, Palace is teaming up with Stella Artois, and Kerwin Frost has just released his first collaboration with Adidas.

Brain Dead x Gramicci

Brain Dead is releasing a collaboration with the California-based outdoor brand Gramicci. Created by one of the original founders of the famous ‘70s climbing collective the “Stonemasters,” Mike “Gramicci” Graham, Gramicci has been making climbing gear since 1977. The brand is well known for their innovative take on climbing shorts, which include a gusseted crotch and integrated nylon belt. Along with collaborations with The North Face and footwear brands like Evolv, Brain Dead’s new collaboration with Gramicci is yet another to add to their catalog of outdoor apparel. The Brain Dead x Gramicci collection features two T-shirts, a long sleeve shirt, a bucket hat, a 6-panel hat, shorts, and pants in true Gramicci fashion.

Team MoMa Collection

The Team MoMA collection is now available at the MoMA Design Store. The new and exclusive collection offers updates on some of the museum’s most popular merch. The MoMA crewneck, hoodie, and sports bra by Champion return this season along with new colorways of their ever-popular New Era fitted caps. New beanies and baseball caps will also arrive this fall.

A special Team MoMA Pop-up Shop at the MoMA Design Store in Soho on 81 Spring Street will be open through Oct. 31.

Dr. Martens x Suicoke

Dr. Martens has collaborated with Suicoke to create a one-off fusion of the Japanese sandal brand’s slip-on Mura silhouette with Dr. Martens’ signature Lorsan outsole. The Dr. Martens x Suicoke Mura boasts Suicoke’s lightweight, easy-on and easy-off, construction but features the look of the iconic Dr. Martens boots. The Mura arrives in either black smooth leather or black “New Vibrance Croco” leather with a neoprene upper offering enhanced flexibility and comfort. The sandals are debossed with Dr. Martens and Suicoke branding and boast hook closures with a velcro heel strip. Of course, it comes complete with Dr.Martens’ yellow welt stitching and heel loops. A dual-branded custom footbed ties this unique collaboration together.

Palace x Stella Artois

Following up their previous collection, Stella Artois and cult skate brand Palace are releasing a limited-edition fall collection of Palace Artois. The new collection will feature apparel with “SoHo, New York” or “SoHo, London” appearing on luxurious stadium jackets, hoodies, caps, and T-shirts. Elevated home bar accessories and a limited edition Palace Artrois 16 oz. beer can will be available as well. Interactive Palace Artrois pubs will open for a limited time in SoHo New York and SoHo London. The pub in London will be at The Blue Posts on 22 Berwick Street and be open from Tuesday to Friday. The pub in New York City will be at the Vig Bar on 12 Spring Street from Wednesday, August 25th to Thursday, August 26th. The special Palace Artrois cans will also be available at 7-Eleven stores in the United states.

J.Crew x Marathon Watch Company

J.Crew has collaborated with Marathon Watch Company to release the Pilot’s Navigator watch. The watch comes in “Black Pilot,” “Sage Green,” and “Desert Tan” colorways. A limited edition “Navy” colorway features the J.Crew emblem etched into the 316L parkerized steel crown and caseback with a specialized fibershell case that is both lightweight, and sweat/shock resistant. The watch comes with a nylon strap with a stainless steel buckle and loops.

Saint Laurent Rive Droite x K-Way

Anthony Vaccarello has developed a new jacket with the brand K-Way for for Saint Laurent Rive Droite. Originally established in Paris in 1965, K-Way is known for crafting one of the first windproof and waterproof packable jackets in history. Together the brands reinterpreted a new limited edition version of the mystic K-Way jacket with an all-over sunset print that looks like it was distorted by a VHS camera. The unisex model is crafted from water repellent and windproof ripstop fabric with inner heat-taped seams. The technical fabric ensures optimal insulation while emphasizing both functionality and quality.

Kerwin Frost x Adidas Superstuffed

Adidas and Kerwin Frost will release their first collaborative product together this week. Inspired by the footwear worn by clowns and sporting mascots, the “Superstuffed” Superstar takes one of Adidas’ most iconic models and makes it appear five sizes bigger than its actual size while still being perfectly padded to fit the wearer’s foot. The Superstuffed boasts a white leather upper, rubber shell toe, gold foil details, and black stripes. Aside from the shoe’s unique size, it also features co-branded sock liners and is packaged in a custom box boasting a graphic outline of Frost’s face on the lid.

“I want to make mascot sneakers, you know what I mean? But I also want to reverse it and give homage [to] something that did mean a lot to streetwear in general” Frost told Complex in a recent interview. “I always try to just tie it back to history. Stüssy has teamed up with Birkenstock again for another comfortable footwear collaboration. The partnership focuses on Birkenstock’s Boston silouette and arrives in “Caramel,” “Bone,” and “Dusty Pink” colorways. The mule features a casual suede upper with Stüssy’s signature logo subtly embossed on the lateral.

Flaneur Homme’s newest collection is inspired by the ‘90s and dubbed “Heroin Chic.” More specifically, the collection is inspired by the dark state of mind many creatives found themselves in during this Covid-19 pandemic and juxtaposes that against the opioid epidemic of the ‘90s, which also drowned the minds and lives of a creative generation. The extensive collection features flared cut bottoms, straight leg and slim fit denim, tweed flannels, flared leather carpenter pants, and twill cargos. Crenshaw Skate Club x The Hundreds

The Los Angeles-based skateboard brand Crenshaw Skate Club is releasing a capsule collection with The Hundreds. Originally founded in 2017, Tobey McIntosh created Crenshaw Skate Club because he felt inner-city skateboarders were undrepresented within the skate community. The brand’s new collaboration with The Hundreds includes sticker packs, T-shirts, hats, and hoodies. The apparel features bold graphics that showcase Crenshaw Skate Club’s skater character holding The Hundreds’ Adam Bomb and animated pieces of hardware.

Daily Paper 'From Africa To The World'
