Now that October is here and Paris Fashion Week is over, you must have plenty of inspiration to decide what fits to put together this fall. Thankfully, there are plenty of great releases this week to help you put your strongest foot forward. Awake New York is set to release the first drop from its newest season, while Moncler has released a luxurious collaboration with the innovative Japanese outerwear brand HYKE. The North Face has re-released its iconic Trans-Antarctica collection that’s sure to become a must-have for avid vintage North Face collectors. Supreme is also releasing a fresh run of graphic T-shirts this week and Kaws is dropping his very first perfume with Comme des Garçons.

Awake NY returns with a fresh new collection for Fall/Winter 2021 this Friday. The newest season from Angelo Baque’s clothing label includes crewneck sweaters with chenille patches, suits, wool trench coats, embroidered hoodies, hats, flannel shirts, beanies, knit cardigans, knit sweaters, and more. A standout from the brand’s latest collection is an airbrushed hoodie with bedazzled lettering that reads “Living The Dream.”

Daily Paper Holiday 2021 Collection

Daily Paper’s new Holiday 2021 campaign channels ‘70s winter sports style and arrives aptly in time for the colder months ahead. The collection boasts earthy colors, comfy fits, and all-over branded monogram prints. Comme des Garçons x Kaws Perfume

Comme des Garçons has collaborated with Kaws on his very first perfume, “Mirror.” Inspired by KAWS’s multi-faceted practice, the perfume boasts a blend of complex and optimistic fragrant notes to create a musky floral scent. The perfume was crafted by Nicolas Beaulieu and features turmeric leaves and root oil, neroli oil, clean accord, orange blossom, absolute, cashmeran, sinfonide, and benzoin resinoid. The bottle and packaing feature the hands of Kaws’ iconic Companion character. The scent is now available in Paris and will hit Dover Street Market shops and selected specialty boutiques worldwide on Oct. 14.

The North Face Trans-Antarctica Collection

The North Face has just re-released its iconic Trans-Antarctica collection, which is one of the brand’s most sought after collections within the vintage streetwear marketplace. Originally created in 1990 to outfit an international team of explorers for the first dogsled crossing of Antarctica, the 1990 Trans-Antarctica Expedition sought to draw global attention to climate change. In the past, the Trans-Antarctica collection was highlighted by collaborations with Supreme and Goldwin. Now available in select global markets and retailers, the collection features a 700 down-filled parka with a DryVent shell, snow pants, fleece jackets, and hoodies. Although the collection is still rolling out, fleece jackets are currently available at Slam Jam.

Moncler x HYKE

HYKE has collaborated with Moncler for a new Genius collection for Fall/Winter 2021. For the collaboration, Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode of HYKE delved deep into Moncler’s archive. The collection is inspired by pieces such as the 1960 Lionel Terray down coat, as well as vintage uniform clothing from France. Together, Moncler infused HYKE’s signature sleek and pared down silhouettes with their iconic down blanket. Puffers, hooded parkas, collarless coats with scarves that can be attached as collar pads, and parkas with detachable linings are all available in both monochromatic navy and taupe colorways. Utilitarian details such as slide slits and long puller tapes are also integrated into the packable outerwear. Other standout pieces include teddy fleeces, layered pants, pleated skirts, ribbed cardigans, padded boots, and beanies.

Supreme is releasing its seasonal drop of graphic T-shirts this week. The release consists of eight different designs created by artists like Weirdo Dave, Stash, and Sean Cliver. The standout T-shirt from this release is one that features a film still of Nas from the opening scene of Hype Williams’ Belly.

Alpha Industries is teaming up with New Balance for the first time on a limited edition capsule collection. The release includes a pair of 574 sneakers, graphic hoodies, a quarter-zip pullover, joggers, a baseball cap, and two graphic T-shirts. The entire collection is illuminated by Alpha Industries’ signature green olive colorway. The centerpiece of the collection, the 574, boasts a suede exterior and mesh details made out of waterproof Cordura nylon. It arrives in gray and olive green colorways.

Sebago x Engineered Garments

Following the success of their SS21 collaboration, Sebago returns for the FW21 season with another Engineered Garments collection. Once again, Daiki Suzuki takes on Sebago’s classic designs and brings them into the future. The first release takes Sebago’s Beef Roll Moccasin and outfits it with a Vibram outsole. This first release from the three-part collaboration this season is available in three different material choices: waxed suede, crocodile-print , and pony hair. Each is available both in black and dark brown. Stay tuned for more releases from this collaboration that are set to drop at the end of October and late November.

Adidas Skateboarding x Mark Gonzales

Following the commemorative Superstar ADV by Mark Gonzales released last year to celebrate the classic silhouette’s 50th anniversary, Adidas Skateboarding has just unveiled the skate legend’s follow-up project featuring his beloved “Shmoo” birds. The Superstar ADV by Mark Gonzales is a reinterpretation of the iconic sneaker with performance enhancements reimagined for skate. The blacked-out silhouette arrives with a full-grain leather upper and nubuck “Shmoo” patches outlined with neon colors scattered throughout.

Fly Geenius has just unveiled its first collaboration from #BlocksToBrownstones, a new project that’s based on the dialogue between its own streetwear brand and selected talents to help build community through fashion.
