Thankfully, a number of great labels have released some exciting products this week to keep you looking fresh for the first day of classes. Moncler is collaborating with Barbour, Goldwin has just released its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, Kaws is dropping a charitable T-shirt with Infinite Archives, and BAPE is set to release a landmark collaboration with the Parisian fashion label A.P.C.

Moncler x Barbour

Barbour has collaborated with Moncler for their 2 Moncler 1952 Man collection. The partnership introduces two new dual branded outerwear styles and a special bucket hat. It marks the first time Barbour has collaborated with a luxury fashion label. Moncler’s collaboration with Barbour seamlessly blends the heritage and history of two iconic brands. One exclusive outerwear style is the Wight Jacket which reimagines Barbour’s iconic Bedale jacket with 2 Moncler 1952 Man liner and a detachable hood. The jacket boasts dual branding and arrives in yellow, black and animal print colorways. The other collaborative style offered is the Barbour Moncler Barra Peacoat, which is a classic long line raincoat made out of 6-ounce waxed cotton, and boasts military button details. The peacoat is available in a khaki beige colorway and includes Barbour motifs such as a throat latch and tartan lining.
Goldwin

The acclaimed Japanese outdoor apparel label Goldwin has just launched its Fall/Winter 2022 collection. Goldwin’s latest collection blends minimalist design with high tier technical alpine performance. Their latest range boasts high-performance outerwear and insulation, ultralight cold-weather running gear, minimalist lifestyle apparel, and more. All the apparel features the latest technical fabric innovations from Pertex and Gore-Tex, alongside environmentally conscious materials like recycled nylon and insulation made from marine plastic. Outdoor offerings include jackets made out of Pertex Shield Air, which is a new fabric from Pertex that improves airflow and seals out moisture without compromising mobility. Athletic standouts include Compression Long Tights crafted with a special sewing technique that utilizes recycled nylon and reduces chafing. Lifestyle offerings include Gore-Tex puffers and hooded down coats that are perfect for rough urban winters.

Kaws has teamed up with Easy Otabor’s label Infinite Archives for the release of a charitable T-shirt where profits will go towards the Rebuild Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding the cultural foundations of underinvested neighborhoods and ignite movements of community revitalization that are culture based, artist led, and neighborhood driven. The T-shirt features Kaws’ take on the word “Rebuild” and features his classic motifs.
A.P.C. x BAPE

BAPE’s latest collaboration is with the heritage Parisian clothing label A.P.C. The collection is inspired by A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou’s own admiration for BAPE in the ‘90s. “When my friend Hiroshi Fujiwara introduced me to A Bathing Ape, I was immediately fascinated, because it managed to anchor a cinematic obsession in a streetwear culture whose influence became and remains key,” Touitou said in a statement. The collection blends BAPE’s iconic camouflage and Baby Milo motifs alongside A.P.C.’s penchant for denim. Standout pieces within the collaboration include a denim jacket with a camouflage hoodie, a camouflage coach jacket, and playful graphic T-shirts Baby Milo. Accessories include hats, crossbody bags, key chains, and denim tote bags.
Y-3

Y-3 will present the final chapter of its Fall/Winter 2022 collection. The last and fourth release will celebrate one of the the label’s most celebrated motifs, which is bold graphic prints. A selection of pieces that juxtapose leopard prints and expressive fabrics with muted palettes, functional details, and dynamic sporting silhouettes will be available. Footwear offerings include the Y-3 Terrex Swift R3 in Gore-Tex, the Y-3 Ultraboost 22, the Y-3 Runner 4D, the Y-3 Qasa, and the Y-3 Makura.
Icecream

Icecream’s latest collection has arrived for Fall 2022. Playful colors and reinterpreted designs with updated fabrication and fits define the offerings for Pharrell’s newest collection. Ready-to-wear styles include the Dollars Jacket, which boasts black plush satin velour and detailed embroidery. Another standout is the Buckthorn Camp Shirt, which is a silky rayon camp shirt with a contrast collar and chain stitch details. Icecream’s latest season includes strong outerwear offerings like The Pepper Jacket, a work coat with a jacquard waffle camo pattern and embroidered details. One of their strong bottom offerings is a pair of Bandana Denim, which is a pair of distressed vintage wash jeans that feature embroidery and patchwork details.
Envy of NY

The New York City-based label Envy of NY has released a limited edition collection in honor of Black Business Month. Envy’s latest release is centered on a collaboration with Lips Cafe, a beloved Flatbush, Brooklyn-based cafe best known for serving West Indian breakfast and lunch dishes. The collection includes two T-shirts in black and white colorways, a black tote bag, and a green cap.
Kenzo

Kenzo has just unveiled the release of its Fall/Winter 2022 women’s and men’s collections by their new Artistic Director Nigo. The ‘East Meets West’ launch highlights pieces inspired by Western Americana. Standouts from Kenzo’s latest release include varsity bomber jackets, wool kimono coats, and reversible “France-Japan” hoodies that boast Sukajin jacket-esque embroidery.
Lululemon

Lululemon recently released the Chargefeel workout shoe in mid and low-top iterations. The Chargefeel is a unique product within the performance footwear market because it’s designed for female feet. The MoMa Design Store has an exclusive release of Takashi Murakami pancake pans. Two pans featuring raised outlines of Murakami’s famous flower motif are currently available. Both boast a colorful resin handle decorated with five flowers. One pan features the classic Murakami flower while another features a pixelated version of the flower that is derived from Murakami’s first NFT project.
