RSVP Gallery is back with the third installment of its on-going Q&A series, in which it profiles the leading influencers in contemporary music and style.
For this episode, RSVP’s Jake Osmun sits down with barber/designer Ibn Jasper to discuss everything from the progression of skate culture to the future of his Cordova Collection to his close relationship with Kanye West. And it turns out Jasper, who has been cutting West’s hair for the last two decades, didn’t anticipate 'Ye's incredible success.
“We didn’t expect this. Really, we thought Kanye was going to go gold. He went triple platinum,” Jasper tells RSVP. “That was the goal, to gold. So all of this that happened is extra. And we’re grateful for it. But at the same time, we’re not finished.”
