Kanye West’s style says many things; none of which are “modest.”
Though we know his wardrobe is comprised of the most luxe and expensive labels known to man, the 38-year-old rapper also drops a hefty sum of money to keep his hair looking right. At least according to Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty.
In a recent interview with Heat magazine, Fenty told the publication that West pays his barber $500 for a haircut. Every. Single. Day.
Fenty says he witnessed this first-hand when he toured with West and Rihanna back in 2010.
“It’s crazy – he pays his barber $500 a time,” he told Heat.”I don’t understand how that much hair gets taken off. Kanye just loves the fresh look.”
If Fenty’s story is legit, that means West spent $182,500 on haircuts a year—more than three times the amount the average American family made in 2014.
At least we know Ibn Jasper was taken care of.
