Just a year after he debuted his Midnight Studios brand, Los Angeles-based designer Shane Gonzales returns with his most extensive collection to date.
Titled “Something Else,” the Spring/Summer 2015 range has continued Midnight Studio’s elevated streetwear aesthetic with a strong reference to punk. Staple items like bombers, trucker jackets, sweaters, and T-shirts have been taken to the next level with unique details like elongated sleeves, two-tone paneling, appliques, and bold, DIY-inspired graphics. And although this season is still dominated by a black-and-white color scheme, the brand has introduced pops of colors throughout—most notably an electric blue that shows up among plaid and striped pieces.
This season’s standout items include a reversible bomber, a two-toned flannel, and an oversized trucker jacket emblazoned with a stencil graphic on the back.
Take a look below to scope the Spring/Summer 2015 lookbook, which was shot by Tyler Adams and modeled by Chandler Lucy. The range drops at select retailers and the Midnight Studios online store this month.
