Exclusive: Timberland Taps 424 on Fairfax to Create a Special Edition 3M Sweatshirt

In honor of its monochromatic gray footwear collection, Timberland has linked up with 424 on Fairfax to create an exclusive sweatshirt design that compliments the range.

The French terry piece features Timberland’s iconic tree logo paired with 424 branding in 3M print. 424 co-owner Guillermo Andrade says the inspiration for the simple design came from one of his most-prized possessions as a kid: “I was inspired by a Timberland sweatshirt I had when I was younger — plain gray with a logo hit on the chest, it was one of my favorite clothing items,” Andrade explained in a press release. "No matter what I’ve been into aesthetically, Timberlands have always been a part of that.”

Unfortunately, the Timberland x 424 sweatshirt will not be available for retail, as it will only be gifted to friends and family of the brands; however, the limited edition gray collection has been released for Fall/Winter 2015. You can pick up gray iterations of the classic 6-inch boot, the roll-top, Euro dub, field boot, and the Eurohiker (pictured below) at Timberland retailers as well as online.
