I really like how Blue Blue Japan calls this a "sleeveless jacket" instead of a vest. Some of you might even be wondering why you'd pay almost 500 dollars for a jacket that doesn't even come with the sleeves, but thoughts like that are why you can't sit with us. I want to wear this over an indigo sweatshirt and under an indigo jacket so I can look like your favorite Instagram account that only posts Meiji-era boro scraps. Guys, do you pretend to know what years correspond with Meiji and Edo period references too? Cultural appropriation can be so hard sometimes.
