Exactly 27 years ago from today, we were introduced to a precocious young man who was wise and stylish beyond his years. Ferris Bueller taught an entire generation how to appreciate life, love, and look good while doing it. During a zany day zipping around Chicago with his best friend and girlfriend, Ferris took life head-on and made America fall in love with a philosophy that was the prototype of YOLO.
If a guy is wise enough to tell us, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it,” then you could probably take some style cues from him, too. Ferris' colorblocked leather jacket is definitely a strange piece, but he clearly loves it and rocks it with pride all day long. As Louis Anderson shows us, it's a myth that white should not be worn after Labor Day. It's a year-round color that doesn't have to be relegated to the back of the closet after early September. We've recently seen A$AP Rocky, Pusha-T, and other style icons do a full head-to-toe look on the lighter side of the color spectrum, and there's no reason why you can't, either. Just try not to wear a bowtie with it.

If you're not having fun, then it doesn't matter what you're wearing. We would never recommend the shirt on the left, but dude is having such a good time that we want to be like him no matter what he's wearing. We're not advocating that you steal a Ferrari and take it out for a sick joy ride, but there's no point to looking good if you can't have a good time while doing so.
