Gentle Monster will be raising the stakes by soon dropping intelligent eyewear in collaboration with Google.
During conference Google I/O 2026 on Tuesday (May 19), the collaboration was revealed as the first intelligence eyewear launch from Gentle Monster. The frames, which release in the fall, will include audio speakers, voice-assistance and an internal camera for pictures and video capture.
Using Samsung’s product innovation and hardware engineering, eyewear users can listen to music, make phone calls and more, in addition to speaking with software Google Gemini for information about their surroundings, turn-by-turn navigation and live translations.
